What data gwirio.dev collects, why, and what you can do about it.

Effective April 24, 2026 Gwirio.Dev

This policy describes how Gwirio.Dev (the "Site", "we", "us") handles personal data when you visit gwirio.dev, fill out a form, or subscribe to the newsletter. It is written in plain language rather than legalese. If any part is unclear, email hello@gwirio.dev and we will explain.

Who we are

Gwirio.Dev is a software architecture consultancy run by Agustin Renteria Beltran, operating through Gwirio Labs. You can reach us at hello@gwirio.dev for any question related to this policy or to your personal data.

What we collect

Automatically, when you browse

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used. Google Analytics collects:

This data is pseudonymous. We do not attempt to identify you from it.

Our hosting provider also records standard server logs (IP, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) as part of serving the site. These logs are retained short-term for security and diagnostic purposes.

When you contact us or subscribe

The inquiry form on the homepage collects your name, email, the service you selected, and your message. The newsletter form on the knowledge page collects your email address. In both cases, you provide this data voluntarily when you submit the form.

How we collect it

Google Analytics 4

A small JavaScript snippet on every page loads gtag.js from Google. It sets cookies (_ga, _ga_*) on your browser and sends usage events to Google's servers. For details on how Google handles data collected through partner sites, see Google's "How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services" page.

You can opt out of Analytics in any of these ways:

Forms

Contact and newsletter submissions are processed by Formspree (formspree.io). Your submission is stored briefly by Formspree and forwarded to our inbox. See Formspree's privacy policy for details on how they handle form data.

Why we collect it

We do not sell your data. We do not run advertising or retargeting campaigns. We do not build profiles of visitors across other sites.

Who we share it with

We do not share personal data with any other third parties, except when required by law or legal process.

Cookies

A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser so it can remember information between page loads. This site uses the following cookies:

You can delete or block these at any time through your browser settings. Blocking them will not break any functionality of the site.

Your rights

Regardless of where you are located, you can ask us to:

If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or California, specific legal frameworks (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA) formalise these rights. To exercise any of them, email hello@gwirio.dev. We respond within 30 days.

Retention

International transfers

Google Analytics, Formspree, and our email and hosting providers may process data on servers located outside your country, including in the United States. Where required by law (for example, for EU visitors), these transfers rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards offered by those providers.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the services we use or applicable law. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the latest version. Material changes will be announced to newsletter subscribers.
